Can I use my own modem with Ziply Fiber?
Yes. Ziply Fiber permits customer-owned equipment that meets its published requirements. In their words: "While we optimize our routers for our network to bring you the best internet performance, you're free to use your own router. What does Ziply Fiber not allow?
No device is explicitly banned. The page distinguishes fiber from cable/DSL: "Fiber internet connects to your home via an ONT (Optical Network Terminal), where cable and DSL use modems. When considering routers for use with fiber internet, be sure to choose a model that's ONT compatible." — i.e. a DOCSIS cable modem has no role here.
